Big Yield Techniques, also Carbon Monoxide?
microwave phosper lamp ( used by a few Federal projects, cost over 3000 bucks for the bulb plus light pipe)
theres the sulphur plasma lamp that was first inveted in the 90s.They say that owing to the complete molecular radation produced by sulphur the spectrum is continuos no other artificial light sorce can do that or emulate the sun so well. but becuase of the price they were all but abandoned buy the end of the last millinnium. They are still used in goverment buildings and labs in china.A company called Tunga and another Nigbo youhe produce their own versions and have made thousand of sucsesful installations in mainland china.Outside china only island systems have produced ansd manufactured and sold 300 watt to 1300 watt systems.SP technoligy has never looked affordable or economical to us cannabis growers with lamps costing around £3000 but and i say but lol now a well know korean electronic company has carried the technoligy forward patented their product and are about to launch a range of plasma lighting systems (pls). Mass production by LG ELECTRONICS has started with a target date for complete global domaninance by 2011.
A known brand name like LG ELECTRONICS will set the pace and the expectation of price reduction, get ready for the plasma sulphur range it will change our yeild production ten fold .Quite simply,it is far superior to any other artificial light source known to mankind. Its said that the first time a sulphur plasma is lit its so bright you think a god like entity has entered the room then you know metal halide and hps days are numbered .heres a video of one in action YouTube - European Sulphur Plasma 1300W+=
protessional & commercial use of sulphur plasma in 3d lighting systems is a certanty and a favourit for now and the future.
Plants dont need the green light so much,so you might ask why SP is this so strong in photosythetically useful radation (PUR)The light is actually stronger in the green avalenths than any other coulors.
They say that the heat output from a 700 watt SP is similar to that of a 250 watt hps system and the heat from a 1000 watt SP system is similar to a 400 watt conventional hid system.
Plant growth facilities agree that this is one of the few light sources that can be used to light youre plants to a solar leval without cooking the plants. The SP will soon dominate all artificial light sources especially for growing plants.Poinsett cucmbers were grown in climatically controlled growth chambers ,Pots were placed at equal distances in 60 pot arrangements at equal distances for MH& SP.Uniformity of photosynthetic photo flux was found to be better( the lights power is distrobuted and spread about more evenly) with the SP than the MH.Petitol lenth was90% greater , total stem lenth was44% greater leaves were 34% larger,Plants grown with SP often have often had a greener than usual apperance, strong and rapid synthesis of chlorophyll is visualy obvious.Biomass was also measured for food crops they can equateplant parts to food , for carrots and potatos the rootsand for cabbage and cauliflower the tops.Dry weights of roots were 36% greater.Dry weights of tops of Sp grown plants were 28% greater.
Sulphur plasma has the ability to give you the growing power of the sun here on earth when ever or were ever you need it.
to read this full article its in the urban garden free from all good hydro stores. but it loos as if we can look forward to this exellent adition to out grow rooms.the postman.
