well I stuck the exhaust pipe from the back of a 72 nova and turned it on while the pipe was in a box with the seedlings... i did it outside too. I think the risk of carbon monoxide exposure outside is pretty low. it isn't like im stickin the pipe into my lungs or in a closed space.
