Do you roll ur cigs with a filter? Cuz if you go non filter, yes it is worse.

there are generally less additives, but the smoke is alot harsher.
Animals are something invented by plants to move seeds around. An extremely yang solution to a peculiar problem which they faced.

i roll my own, and i'll say
1. oh, it'll give you cancer no doubt, not "safe". whether it's "more safe" than most cigs, probably; all RYO tobacco contains few or no additives, but i wouldn't think of it that way; as far as i know, smoking organic, perfect tobacco leaves will give you cancer; but i like to avoid all the additives anyway: summary: it's not safe, you will have a very highly increased likelihood of cancer
2. my suggestions for RYO: mclintock red and the stokebye versions; american spirit isn't great, pretty harsh, but it is completely additive free
i like hemp rolling papers (and we should all support hemp farmers, it's important for legilization)

ps: what i suggest is to buy filter tubes and a cig-machine. that's the little plastic thingy you go "swipe-swipe" and you've got a cig. fast, filtered, and those machines are only a couple bucks. i carry rolling papers when i'm on the go though, and all good cannabis lovers should know how to roll

and if you roll without a filter, it's definately more harmful to roll your own then through the cig companies.
