they will be right im growing the same and there gettin less sun and hugeeeee tomatos and peppers

I have some vegie plants I want to plant out in the front yeard. how much sunlight do vegie plants need. to they need all day sun. or what if they get 90% day summer sun. but they get afternoon shade. the spot I want to plant my vegie plants would get 90% day sun. will that be enough sun to get a good sized vegies.
