from my experience with my ex-wife. I would be worried if she new where my grow was, because that bitch has done everything she can to make my life hell. She brainwashed my kids into hating me, and my kids used to love me. Some women are just plain cruel. If you have another place that she doesnt know about. I would move my grow there.

Legally? No, judges are NOT going to issue a warrant based on hearsay!!! That is not enough probable cause.

It just means that if the cops DO show up, your lawyer can get that shit tossed out of court.

This info comes directly from my attorney-- I had to jump through some MAJOR hoops, including ditching my entire grow, when I kicked my ex out.

Does that mean you can think you are safe, no way. Shit happens and they still might get a warrant somehow.. or do it by showing up for a knock and talk and if they see or smell anything suspicious, can then seal the property until they get the warrant.

But that's super super expensive and you don't even want to GO there.

The thing is though that if the hearsay starts flying, you could be under much more scrutiny.

Did your ex see your grow? if so. Then yes that is a warrant to kick your door down. Other wise stinkyattic hits the nail on the head.
Let me try to tell my story and make it short.
Fact one, if someone sees drugs or plants at your place this is not hearsay it's a warrant.
Fact two, if someone buys from you it's a warrant.
That's the two ways to get a warrant. I learned alot when i got busted. and they wanted me to narc on someone. Never going to happen.
Ok my nephew is busted for coke, He saw my grow room. only one on earth to see it. He comes to my house to buy from me. No way it's going to happen, I'm growing for meds and family. He gets pissed. Told him two weeks till ready. I harvest a week early. One day before he thought I was to harvest 4 narc's at my door for stop and talk.
I walk out my door and close it. Asshole Jack says I smeel pot. That's a warrant, I'm fucked. Then he tells me exactly what is in my grow room in my shed. I tell him I know it's my nephew cause he is the only one that could tell him that. He says lets talk.
He threatens to take my wife and son to jail with me.
I agree to cooperate if wife and son gets to leave. Deal is made.
He thinks I got buds in my shed but wants to enter my home cause my nephew says I have a phototron inside. I show him my tron and 3/4 pounds killer couch lock papaya buds, Dank. They take pictures of everything. I had sea of green in my shed for five months going.
They take everything, POW POW POW. I watch them drive away with only one joint hid outside. I sat down smoked my bud and cried as they drove off.
Went to narc's office one week later. They tell me how to bust someone to help myself and do their job for them. I lead them on.
First thing I get a lawyer. Narc's say 5 to 7 felonies and misdemeanor. Lawyer says you telling me truth , I say yes. Next day he goes down to narc's office and see's the warrant with nephews name on it on their desk. Comes out and says three felonies and misdemeanor.
About six months or so lawyer calls, be at my office tomarrow. I plea bargain the next day in court to one felony for intent to sell and deliver. Just to piss me off because I would not sell. Narcs smoked all my dank for xmas. I'm a legend hydro grower in my small town.
8 to 12 months jail, suspended. 24 months supervized probation. I am on month 4. No smoke I'm one pissed monkey.
8864 dollars ileagle substance tax. 2500 laywer. 750 fine and court cost. 300lab test fee. 30 a month probation.
If they come to your door do not open it till you find out if they have warrant. If no warrant tell them to go away. Do not open door. If they smell or say they smell it you done for.
Life sucks, i was helpng cancer dudes that 2 are now dead, I know 3 more but can't help. Wife is pissed and she don't forget very easy. Son knows I got in trouble but not sure for what. Waiting my time out and helping on the hydro section and growing veggies for now.
