YES - you must use pure Butane a lot of Butane has Merceptanes(sp?) added that make that rotten-egg smell and this will thoroughly fuck-up your bho.

Check for "extra / ultra pure" or "purified" butane - if anyone asks tell em its for your Uncle's mega-expensive lighter that screws up with regular butane

First, let me answer this. The can that I am useing is 5 times filtered or something. Just read the can for the best quality. Second, do NOT put it over a flame, not if you value you life. Butane is majority gas not liquid. . . Butane evaporates rapidly, there is no need for anything but ventalation. When you are doing it in a small scale like this it is ready in minutes. just do it on a mirror and have a razor handy to scrape everything up. If you use pure butane everything unwanted will evaporate in moments. and you can really tell when its ready. . .the bud will be dry, and there will be a brownish gell left over. The shade changes with quality. . .

yes, but you can speed it up by getting a bowl that's bigger thenw hat you got your butane in, and putitng some luke warm water in it, hten setting the smaller bowl (with the butane and honey oil) in that pot... don't let any water get in, it doesn't have to be that deep... like a half an inch

Butane evaporates, nothing but what was already is there left over. If you use butane with no addatives that is.
