As others have said, nothing to worry about. I'd say over half of my plants that are flowering now have growth like that below the cotyledons. They don't really amount to anything since they barely get any light, but they look like mini plants growing out of the stem
Sk8orDie Reviewed by Sk8orDie on . Odd Growth??? First try growing and I have a question about some strange looking (to me anyway) growth I'm seeing. I have 5 plants that are at 3 weeks. No clue what type - got them from a friend who got them out of his bag. All growing under identical conditions, with one of them being tall and slender and looking "normal" to me. The other 4 are only about half the height of the other, but are much bushier. I got no problem with that - shorter is actually better for me. That said, all 4 of the shorter Rating: 5
