Need Expert Opinions re: PruningSo my plants are 16 days into flower and due to my look but don't touch policy they have become pretty unruly. I need to go through and give them a pruning...get rid of the sucker branches, the old half-dead fan leaves that are all stuffed into the middle of the plant etc etc. When is the best time to do this....early in flowering or later? And if later...how later? Also should I do one serious prune or a little bit each day? Which one is best for plant? I'm asking because I want to know how the PROS do it.

Need Expert Opinions re: Pruningi would think prunning and trimming done in early floweing would be the best for the plant. it will give it time to pack the extra energy into the main colas. :twocents:

Need Expert Opinions re: PruningDon't prune during flowering, it will slow groth. Just bend the tops a little bit each day.

Need Expert Opinions re: Pruningweed, i pull yellow leaves; they come off very easily. i don't recomend topping or cutting in flower, because they don't heal and split, the lats take over and that's all. lst and remove yellow leaves, imo. but, if you have to cut, you have to cut; been there done that

Need Expert Opinions re: PruningWell I shall leave the sucker branches then but there are some monster sized fan leaves that are taking over so I may grab those....just the ones in the middle. I WILL pull the yellowed croakers as kp says But since all the minds are vetoing it I shall heed the advice and just brush the others out of the way.
