You'll be looking to see if they stems are stretching. As in lots of stem to leaf ratio. We do fully expect to see the plants just turning tword the light, just don't want them putting all thier energy in getting to the light. And for the watering...take it from someone that has overwatered and underwatered...you'll only want to water when the pot is light and you poke your whole finger in the dirt and it's DRY....I'm not sure what the 2-3 day regimine is, sounds bad...if that is your only guideline. Sometimes I don't water for 6 days!

My first grow was done mostly with CFLS and tubes. I kept them as close as I possibly could to the plants. I'm on my second grow, still with problems. I believe that is something you will encounter with your first as well as your 100th! Again, you are doing really well.
