sleep paralysis
Does anyone else have trouble with being paralyzed when they wake up from sleep? I read some about sleep paralysis on the internet, and on wikipedia, they mostly say that its caused by the brain during REM sleep. I dont know if I agree with that though. Im no scientist, but I do know what my experiences have been. I have practiced meditation for the past few years. I have practiced astral projection. I have succeeded only a few times, but since Ive started practicing meditation, and astral projection; I get sleep paralysis usually when I try to awaken quikly, especially if Im in the middle of a dream, like tonight I had a nightmare that I heard someone break in through the front door. I actually heard the door get slammed open. I tried to get out of bed to get to my gun, but I could not move. I thought I was going to have a fucking heart attack. I was awake, but all I could do is just lay there and wait for it to wear off. I hate sleep paralysis.

sleep paralysis
man... i have this kind of thing... and it also started to happen after i started to try astral projecting/meditation... for me happens mainly when im sleeping without being sleepy (just for laziness), and am having lots of dreams. Its scary, mainly when you sense a 'presence' near you, and cant move... Then you kinda 'awake' , move, and this feeling of the 'presence' of someone/something vanishes...
Anyway ive read somewhere that this feeling of sleep paralysis can be used as an way for inducing astral projection. If i remember well, whenever you feel you were awake but couldnt move, you should try to imagine the feeling of being floating, until you separate yourself from the physical body. I never could try this, because i never remembered it when the sleep paralysis happened with me, but i think it would be nice a try.

succubi/incubi--something to wiki
ive had at least one profound instance of this but the weird thing is that ive heard that since it happens around the world and throughout history there have been like fairy tales about like...a witch that stands on your chest and makes it hard for you to move/breath. maybe it was japan.
freaky stuff-no doubt!

sleep paralysis
the craziest shit ever, look it up on wikipedia.
i havent had this but ive been aware of myself passing into the first stage of sleep, pretty scary sensation, feels like im suddenly falling through my bed very fast, apparently if you can not get scared by this it is the first step to a type of lucid dreaming

yep i get this a lot...when i first got it, it was a bit scary bcuz i didnt kno wtf was happenin and at the same time i kept hearing a loud screeching noise and it sounded hella freaky but after awhile (3-5 more times of this) i got real use to it, and i can control myself to just not try to move and stay frozen, and i kinda look around the room with my eyeballs sometimes, and i see shadowy figures that sometimes resemble "human"? lol, and it seems as if a spirit is really there and i can see it, but it doesnt scare me anymore cuz i know it never does anything really cept sometimes make that screeching noise...but then when i dont fight it, i do fall into lucid dreaming, where im in a DREAM REALITY but i know it haha its awesome, once i fell into "dream disney world" and everything was on and shit but no one was there, haha leme say GOOD TIMES lOL ...like i knew forsure i was dreaming so i was on a rollercoaster, then at the peak (highest elevation), i would just fuckin jump off and then start to fly hella fast, haha dreams r truely insane...much much more better and real feeling than acid,

not long after i started smoking i can recall one night i went to bed baked and sometime close to wake up, i dreamt vividly i was floating, i looked back at my bed and saw myself lying there. i floated outside and down the street. it definetly was the most vivid i can remember. i was able to notice so many details about this dream world. i could hear wind blowing in trees and watch all the leaves blown across blades of grass. it was nighttime under the street lights.
the only difference was that in the plane it was a balmy night but in reality it was mid-february and frickin cold n snowy.
still the most detailed dream ive had

Another interesting thing, somewhat related to this sleep paralysis, is to dream youre dreaming. Sometimes i am dreaming, then i "awake". Or rather, i think i have awoken, cause the dream i was is suddenly interrupted, but im still dreaming. Then, i "awake" again, but still am dreaming... Sometimes it happens a lot of times. Once, i feel i had "awakened" almost 10 times. And still was dreaming!! I was becoming scared, cause i was very conscious i was dreaming, and though i tried to awake, i only could dream i had awoke, and not awake in the "real world". Then, after some minutes of struggle, i managed to really awake...
It happened after a night of heavy smoking, and i was beggining to smoke in that times. Dont know if there is a relation... it had happened before i started to smoke, but not with so much dreams inside dreams.
