Ego is like a computer's operating system, every new situations you learn to react to is a new program installed within the operating system. You would be wary of deleting the operating system because you would have nothing to run on. If you look at one of these programs for a moment, you may be able to see the illusion of it. Somthing that you do everyday such as opening a certain door or lighting a cigarrett or somthing, a moment after doing it try to extract the feeling from that moment. It helps to be high :rastasmoke:

Man... i understand it completly... as one day i was thinking exactly the same... but i was thinking our view of the world was the Operating System, not the ego... anyway... the ideas are much the same.
I had this idea while reading Castaneda's works, and while it explained the views of the world of a normal man and of a sorcerer, i thought this views of world would be the OS of our mind.
And i hope one day install in my mind something better that this windows i (and almost every people) uses... i wanna try new OS's, and know every possibility of perception of the world.
Certainly, weed helps a lot to understand and think like this... so keep toking!
