Russian Circles - man they totally slipped my mind, there metalish post-rock. kinda sorta like a bastard child of slint and explosions in the sky. all instrumental from what ive heard of them.

well if you like atd-i then check out mars volta, its got cedric and omar, the distillers are good too, very punk they are, the vines and the hives are more alternative, but still touches of punk
