Decriminalization of cannabis. A progressive fine system. Each offence the fine gets higher.
(a) for a first offence, to a fine of $200;
(b) for a second offence, to a fine of $500; and
(c) for any subsequent offence, to a fine of $1,000.
For greater certainty, an information shall not be laid under the Criminal Code in respect of this offence.
Some say good news some say bad news.
Either way it will not make it far with the current government.

The current government wants to have minimum sentencing for growing.
Not a good thing at all of course.

nope not good if such a bill gets passed,I cant see the NDP or LIBs signing a bill that gives mandatory minimum sentances for growing weed,unless your a biker or gangbanger.But for small time growers i cant see it but who knows.
