hmm its kinda hard to explain..

The one positive motive is that it would help me to lose weight, and seeing as weight it the biggest cause of my depression at the moment im just about desperate enough to try it..
Also im fed up of pussyfooting around tobacco.. whenever i smoke it.. like with weed or when drunk or whenever.. im constantly wondering if i'll get addicted.. what it'll feel like and all that.. i cant be fucked with that anymore..

im not stoned or anything right now.. so if that didnt make sense its just because im confused..

*sigh*

any thoughts?
Don't take up something regrettable for the sake of your depression... You can't fight fire with fire.

It is not guaranteed you will lose weight with smoking cigarettes... If that's the case, ALL smokers (which is predominately most people), they'd all be thin, yet these days 1 in 3 people are 'OBESE'.

If you are self conscious about yourself, best bet is working out... Join a local fitness centre, go 3-4 times a week... Intergrate a cardio/weight training routine and keep that up.

This will also make you eat healthy...

You have more chance losing weight going to the gym for 10 min walking on the treddy than smoking cigarettes, an addiction that MOST if not ALL smokers hate and wish to stop.

You will find you will be smoking more and more, eventually burning a bigger whole in your pocket, and become even more self conscious that you taken up a bad habit to substitute a depressive feeling, in which can be easily solved by doing the right thing and you will live life as a 'regretful smoker' and will become not only depressed about this, but you might also find you won't lose the weight you are hoping for and go to an even lower state of depression down the track.

What should you do?

Don't smoke tobacco unless you WANT TO smoke it
Join a gym
Keep smoking that weed :stoned:
