There are people here who stay smokin commercials though, just this passed 4/20 i gave my friend some of the weed im used to smokin and the people he smoked it with were going crazzy over it. it was the best weed these kids ever saw. They werent noobs either, potheads for atleast a year.

don't know about new york city but i had some BOMB shit when i was in california me and my cousin went to a party at some rich kid's mansion in Malibu and we ended up in the kitchen with like 10 other people we twisted up a fat blunt not the fattest blunt i have ever smoked but pretty good sized and with 10 people plus me and my cousin i was like this is only going around once the dude who rolled it fired it up and started passing it around and when it got to me since there was so many prople i took like 2 huge rips off of it figured might as well make the one time i am going to hit it count and right away i was FUCKED UP so fucked up in fact i could not stand or walk straight ended up going in the living room and sitting on the couch and i kept nodding off and everyone kept waking me up after a while i was right back up partying again though asked the kid who's weed it was if i could buy some off of him and he sold me an eighth for $30 stuff like that would go for $70 an eighth here in michigan tried smoking a bowl to myself later and couldn't do it could'nt even put a dent in it so overall i would definately say that cali weed is the best in the USA have also had some good shit that almost competes with it in michigan though pretty good shit in Texas Florida and Arizona too
