The truth is, nobody in the UK gives a toss about St George's day. Although there are hundreds of thousands of "plastic paddies" who make a point of celebrating St Patrick's.

I'm fucking brilliant my man - im in a good mood for once lol! All the weed i've been smoking for the last few days has started really affecting me lol.
I nearly rear ended someone today though at traffic lights - that made my heart jump and i got a lump in my throat.
I think i'll stop driving so stoned lol - i've now proved it to myself how dangerous it can be.
How you doing mate? Still stoned from the other day lol!
Ooo, i gotta nip out quickly, i think the new skip has just turned up.

This holiday is not celebrated only in England! Here in the city of Rio de Janeiro today is a municipal holiday. I dont know very well why, though... i only know due the religious sincretism that there is here, St. George is associated to a entity called "Ogum", from the african religions. Maybe thats why is a holiday... here there is a lot of followers of that religions, known here as "macumba".
