If they were growing I'd send those plants down the garbage disposal. If they were smoking and they were a teenager I wouldn't ground them if I found out or anything but I wouldn't let them do it in my house, if I was there. Because I wouldn't wanna be charged with contributing to the deliquency of a minor. Why wouldn't I let them grow? Well I'm in highschool right now (16) and everyone I know who grows is selling, and I wouldn't want it in my house. No one I know "grows recreationally".

growing i might make them dismantle... unless of course i was growing or something.... unless i'm doing it too, i don't wanna go down for it <.< smoking however... well, i'd talk to them about responsibility...

I wouldn't allow growing. I don't care how responsible my child would seem to me; children like to talk. I wouldn't trust them to keep it to themselves, and thats something that if they got caught it could ruin both mine and the kids fathers career. Also get the kid taken away and all kinds of things that I really wouldn't want. Smoking would be different. I would want them to be in their older teens when they start, but I also know that if they start young and like it there isnt much I could do or say to make them stop. I would have a talk with them about being safe and responsible, and I would tell them that I'd rather have them smoke at home. I wouldn't want them to be out with their friends stoned and driving around.

i would let them smoke at 14 and id let them grow if i was living in a house far from any other people.

I WISH my kids smoked! They are down on their ever-toking Mom. And as to the age that kids should toke, well I've known "adult" 12 year olds and "teen" 40 year olds! I all depends on the individual's level of maturity! - Granny:hippy:
