Media; Goverment? Parents? Who is in charge?
YouTube is a nice community, I'll put money on that.. Alot of normal users take the time and report obscene material and have it removed, within minutes in some cases. However, some of the material on YouTube is not always lost..
!!!WARNING!!!
The following link to a video is disturbing. I don't know how much I can press that. Are Pop Icons Dangerous For Our Youth?
Video linked source, myspace, sent to my inbox as a letter consisting of near 30 other users and angry comments about being a responsible role model for our youth..
I don't know where the line of free-speech, bad parenting and control of media is drawn, but when kids, not even of age 10 act like this, some one is to blame, and I say it's family. I think parents fuck up kids so much. Most are so overprotective and treat their kids way too young. They think everything will corrupt their precious little babies and they always have to be nvolved with everything and smoke them do sports/activities that they don't want to do.

Even worse are the "best friend" kind of parents who dress like they're in their 20s, and buy their 7 year old daughters matching outifts. Ew.

I say the media, they sensationalize on parents bieng put in jail for punishing their kids so now the kids feel like they can get away with murder, and offer no or little respect, and parents feel like their hands are tied.

parents are the very first line of defense for their kids... if they don't do a good job, it's highly unlikely the kid will come out 'good'...

"Society is to blame for everything." But that's only if you have something to complain about. People always complain but never take action. Also people are people. They make their own decisions based on their personalities. People influence people. People always have and always will be like they are now...stupid. It all comes down to point of veiw too. People will help mold people how THEY want them to be, and lots of views conflict. You may think one parent is doing good, while someone else will think the person is a horrible parent. Now the goverment, I really think they are just horrible and aren't TOO much to blame for everything. It's the combination of the goverment and media. It's mostly propoganda and spamming of ideas and concepts that influences people to make brainwashed decisions and ideas. And lastly, the FCC. FUCK THE FCC. Freedom of speech, I don't need censors, and I don't think anyone should have them. And sorry if my post is out of order and hard to make sense....I'm not entirely here...
