bro im sorry i gotta say your not gonna win any races if you shift at 3k rpms thats the point you should shift in normal driving but when raceing it is optimal to go up to even as high as 5-6k rpms on a car like that 3000 rpms just wont get you up there fast enough... and a drove my friends miata and ita got a govener at like 110 i think not 150 lol
