water bong = any smoking device that filters the smoke through water. This is what people are usually refering to when they talk about bongs. This is things like RooR, Molino, PHx, etc etc etc

waterfall = what you think we are talking about with waterbong. This is the thing that one makes by drilling a hole in the bottom of a bottle and putting a bowl in the cap.

also, one of the strangest things I've smoked out of was a gravity bong with a downstem, so that all the smoke filtered through the water and was thus cooled and filtered just like a normal bong, except it hit like a gravity bong.

finally, why does it matter? just smoke it how you think gets you highest, cause that's all that really matters in the end, right? The way that gives you the best experience is the best choice?
