I know for a fact that I can get higher off a bong than a joint, even if the bong bowl had half the amount of weed in it than the joint. Dispute it until you're blue in the face, but bongs are one of the most potent ways of smoking out there. The only thing that can top it is vaporizers...

I just think the bong gets you more stoned simply because not all of the weed in a joint gets "fully" used... like if you bong hit, sometimes when you light it up, the burnt weed gets a chance to be reused, where as the weed only has one chance to be used in a joint before you ash it. Anything that doesn't get fully used gets wasted.

yea, but im compairing a bowl and a water bong/gravity bong... the weed isnt filtered in a grav bong so its the same as hitting a bowl, maybe a little less harsh, but still the same amount of weed is being absorbed by your body, so its all the same id have to say.

Joints burn up your weed faster even when not hiting.
Bong usually goes out after a hit or two.
so you get mre THC in you rather then letting it burn away.

.... you dont get it.. gatekeeper, you smoke 2 grams out of a bowl, you smoke 2.3 grams out of a joint and 2 grams out of a bong, so over all lets say your taking in 2 grams of weed with every item. so how can a bong fuck you up more than anything? it cant... i think people just tend to smoke more weed so they think there super fucked up... no, you just smoked alot of weed lol..

it isnt a hard concept. all it does is let you take bigger hits. bigger hits will hit you harder then light hits. thats it. it just lets you take big hits.

Wow... leapold certainly isnt the sharpest tool in the shed, is he.
First off, bongs definitely get you higher. Anyone that has ever hit a decent glass bong can tell you that one. Second, they do not use more bud. I use less bud with my bong than anything else. And lastly, my theory on why it gets you so much higher is because the smoke is cooler, and cooler=denser, so its denser, cooler smoke, easier on the lungs allowing for bigger hits.

Because the chamber is much bigger than that on any pipe/joint/bong.
