Primus
There's this song "Jerry was a Racecar Driver" that I enjoy. Anyway, on with my story. I don't listen to Primus on a regular basis, but I know what amazing music is, and realize that Primus is amazing. Anyway, on with my story.
I was on AOL instant messenger, and I was talking to fellow cannabis.com member Matt the Funk. We were talking about how each other's 420's went. Anyway, on with my story. He was telling me how he was high and was listening to Primus. He was doing the drums. He also said the bassist was amazing. The bassist is Les Claypool. I don't know if he knew that, but he should now. Anyway, on with my story, he said he was going to search the boards (these forums) to see if there are any posts on primus, and if not, he was going to make one. Well, I'm high, right now, and thought it would be funny to beat him to the chase, and post first, a post regarding Primus. He doesn't know I'm doing this. Hopefully, he didn't already post one, while I was typing this, or I'll look like a fool.
Peace,

Primus is pretty good. I like the Sailing The Cheese of Sea, and the Oysterhead side project he did with Stewart Copeland and Trey. It's isn't original, but combining the skills of 3 great musicians, each extremely skilled at their craft.

Muaha Primus is more than pretty good. They fuckin' ROCK. I saw them last November in Chicago and it was the craziest, most insane show I've been to in awhile. When "Jerry" came on, the whole venue went nuts, and it was one huge mosh. Claypool is our lord and savior, bar none. Frizzle Fry and Anti Pop? Those are my favorites.
And for the record, there HAVE been other Primus threads in the past. You didn't search very hard.

Seen 'em live 3 times, once on the acid. One of my favorite bands of all time. Les almost filled in for Cliff in Metallica after he died, he was childhood friends with Hammet, but "he was too good".

Wynona loved her big brown beaver
And she stroked him all the time.
She pricked her finger one day and it
Occurred to her she might have a porcupine.\"Where I come from, you don\'t blow no harp, you don\'t get no pussy.\" Willie Brown
