perlite question

is it possible to grow in strait perlite outdoors with no actual soil or other additives? i know people use it in hydroponic setups but just wondering? :rasta:

Why the hell would you EVER want to do that? COMPOST IS YOUR FRIEND.
(the answer is a resounding NO btw)
OUtdoor hydro though is entirely possible.

Sheesh, that wasn't bashing...
You need to be more specific with your questions if you want a good answer.
Such as:
Can you do a perlite-based hydro grow outdoors?
or:
Should you dig a hole and fill it with perlite outdoors, and can a plant survive in that?
I'm not trying to be a pest but I spend a lot of time on my ANSWERS... so please be fair and spend some time organizing your QUESTIONS.
