Broken car window! Help!
Okay, I'm freakin' out here. I locked my keys in my car (yes, baked) the other night 'n ended up having to break one of my windows to get in. I didn't tell my parents 'cause they'll be mad 'n so I'm tryin' to hurry up 'n fix it, problem is I only got $8 bucks. I know it won't get fixed this weekend, but I don't know how long I can hide it. My parents never really look at my car 'n the side the window is on is facing away from the house, so I think I'm good for a few days, but I really need to get it fixed fast.
So does anyone know about how much it'd cost? I called one place and they said its saturday and he needs to call the warehouse or something so I'm stuck without an answer here.
Its the smaller back window here http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...i_cars_248.jpg
Anyone offer some info to ease my mind?Frivolous248 Reviewed by Frivolous248 on . Broken car window! Help! Okay, I'm freakin' out here. 100 - 150. I think that is around what I payed.
If it may rain you better tape a garbage bag across it or else you will be even more fucked.

what really sucks, is you broke the most expensive of the side windows. Just call a junkyard and ask them how much one is. SHouldn't be more than $100 after install.
What city are you in.

i know, but the shapes of the regular windows are more common and therefore cheaper. The little windows are custom to the vehicle. I know only cuz i did the same thing and i had a few broken windows in my time.
Call around and ask for the name and number of an auto salvage (ie junkyard or wrecking yard) thats gonna be your best deal.,

try a junk yard and get one for 1/2 but you will pull out the old one and replace it in your car.

That was a certainly a hasty decsion to smash the window. AAA or a locksmith could have dealt with that within an hour
