Your own doctor will, in all probability, not give you a recommendation. Go to California NORML and check out their list of Cannabis specialists. It will cost you about $100 to $250 to get your yearly recommendation. Just take in a copy of your medical records and the doctor will give you a recommendation- the law says you must have-

(l) Any other chronic or persistent medical symptom that either: (i) Substantially limits the ability of the person to conduct one or more major life activities as defined in the American's with disabilities Act of 1990; and (ii) If not alleviated, may cause serious harm to the patient's safety or physical or mental health."

In other words- just about any medical condition that can cause you real problems! Lyme disease certainly qualifies! I got my recommendation for migraines due to a childhood head trauma. Keep a low profile.- Granny:hippy:
