Hemp on the Road

You know the land on the sides of the Highways? Every mile or so theres some guy mowing the land. Instead of open grass there, why not grow hemp on the side of the highways? I mean, WRECKS! Holy shit, so many cars go veering off the 20 yards into a tree or a fence.. worse, a ditch. Hemp isn't no tree or fence, but it will slow down the car alot as it plows threw it, possibly can stop it, reducing ALOT OF ACCIDENTS!

It's a fucking excellent idea. You can use hemp for a shitload of things, plastic paper fuel. I could see it happening as oil prices get even higher.

Why hemp then? Why not corn or something else? Does hemp have some kind of properties that I'm not aware of.
