Only protection against them? What a load of bollocks, there's probably more guns in New York city than there are in the whole of Europe, and as I remember it 9/11 didn't go very well for the arm bearing population.


That's right - our intrepid warrior in the fight to restore the Constitution, wants to gut the very bedrock of it - the Second Amendment.
If the whole bedrock of your country's constitution is about allowing people to carry deadly weapons it goes a long way to explain the worlwide image that Americans have as being fat arrogant blood thirsty murderers completely obsessed with furthering their own well being to the detriment of all others.

I know this isn't the case as I count a number of Americans amongst my close friends. But your country really does seem to have more than it's fair share of gun obsessed nutjobs and a collective lack of insight that see's arming every moron as essential for maintaining individual freedom.

In Europe we've been doing democracy for a lot longer, and seem to manage to do this sucessfully without being armed to the teeth.
