self hypnosis
meditation
yoga

Rob here has a good idea...sounds to me like the cause is psychosomatic which means there's no physical cause...so i cant imagine a doctor being too useful. I'd reckon meditation or self centering excercises would help you get rid of all the stress...if that works then i can see no reason why you couldn't toke again...
