my grandma can't smell... she got in a car accident when she was in her 20s and hit her head and she hasn't been able to smell since..

Diddo,,,but I was 35... the steering wheel hit right at the bridge of my nose and crushed the nerves that send signals to the brain...

Didn't know that Skink.....does it bother you not to have a sense of smell on a day to day basis?

you know I haven't been able to smell since I was young. I can't really taste either...Lemon is what I can probably smell/taste more than anything.

And poo...but everyone can smell poo.

at first is sucked balls because I had an acute sense of smell and taste... I used to buy coffee beans from around the world an appreciated the taste of them all...

I do get a faint sense of taste onces in a while,,, but I never know when it is going to happen and nothing taste as it did/should,,,all coffee is very bland and I only drink it for the caffeine... As the years go by it becomes less noticeable,,,meaning you get used to it and it bothers you less as time goes on...

Luckily I can't,,,I don't know when a skunk got run over anymore...

the only saving grace is pot as it intensifies any sense I may have,,,in that case I may smell the skunk,,,but I wont know it's a skunk...

I did smell cut grass one time last year after a joint,,,but it sucked because it made me believe I was getting my sense back when in fact I did not...

yeah that's how my grandma is... but over many years she says her taste has advanced quite a bit from the time of the accident... she can't really smell anything, but sometimes she can 'sense' strong smelling stuff like amonia, gasonline, spray paint that type fo stuff...

oh yeah if i remember right, smell is like 70% of your tasting...
