    ?'s about Cloning!!!

My plant right now is a monster and i would really like to start snipping away. Ive taken off a couple but they are not taking root. I have some clonex comming in the mail and i was wondering if I can re cut the stem on a clone i have already cut, to make it fresh for the clonex because the end is mushy...but still alive. Anyone know?

If the stem end's " mushy", you have a bacterial/fungal infection. You could try to cut it out, but I'd just toss it
I assume you understand that we have options on your time,
And we will ditch you in the harbour if we must-
But if it all works out nicely,
You\'ll get the bonus you deserve

Sorry man but you will have much better luck using a just cliped fresh cutting and then dip in the rooting stuff, then into your medium. Also best luck is with small shoots that come from an "active" growing mom. You can try re-cutting them but I don't think you will get much good result.

cut new ones and use a bubbleponics system to get better results. They root in a less amount of time and are cheap to make. Here is a link http://www.seedbankupdate.com/aero.htm

I far prefer rapidrooters. KISS. Plus they are already inoculated with bacillus subtilis and I have NEVER seen a stem rot in those things.
Not much point in trying to save a slip that is already rotting.

This technique worked 100% for me

Grow Marijuana FAQ, Cannabis cultivation - marijuana growing tips & photos

I did it slightly different though, i used light proof cups with tinfoil covering the top, made a hole in the tinfoil and put the stalk through, then placed them under a flourecent. They rooted pretty quick. I also used rooting complex.
