DUMPSTER DIVE! small retail chains such as Save-a-Lot and Dollar General throws out tons of useful stuff. avoid residential garbage and big stores such as Wal-Mart--they compact thier 'garbage'. Ready-made food places like Pappa Johns and Little Ceasars and bread stores throw out fresh food all the time. Thrift stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army are gold mines.
