Let's say that there is no god, no heaven and no hell. What have the people who beleive lost? If there is no god, no heaven, no hell, then nobody will have anything to complain about.

Now the flip side.

Let's say there IS a God, there IS a Heaven and there IS a hell. What have the people who do not beleive lost? There is literally hell to pay if you are wrong.

Is it worth it? Now I'm not saying to give your entire life in the hopes that there is a god, but if you give him a chance, if you really ask, if you really try, he will show you he is real.

I beleive in God, I beleive in Jesus Christ as his son, I beleive in the Holy Bible as His word. I've had Him prove it to me because I gave him a chance. I let my guard down, I let my anger go, I let everything go and just asked, didn't happen instantly it did take some time but He personally showed me that he exists.

If you are wrong, is it worth it? At least give Him a shot. Not five seconds. Give the man an actual chance, let go of all doubt and try it.

Now what if this God instead rewards the ones that have tries to seek out the truth as best as they could, and punishes the ones that helplessly took what others said for granted ?

Why assume a God would reward belief in him more than being honest and good to others ? By definition the (christian/catholic) god is benevolent, so that doesn't make sense.

What if YOU are wrong ? You've lost a whole (and the single one you had) life being deceived and believing on something that wasn't real. I'd rather take my chances and either become dust when I die or explain the god up there that I never believed in him, but I was a nice guy who smoked some nice joints with some other nice guys, had a nice life and a nice job and made others happy, while also enjoying life myself.

A true good and benevolent god wouldn't send me to hell for that.

Wouldn't you agree ?
