HELP:I don't Understand Inline fan setup
I've attached a picture of a reflector i plan to buy for my 400w hps so i can put the reflector closer to the plants, i just want to pull the hot air out of the reflector into another room...how do u set up the ducting and the fan, etc. does ducking go on both ends of the reflector or only one, and does the fan connect to the reflector or do you put it at the end of the ducting where it will be exhauseted into another room...i know i'm completely stupid but i need help

HELP:I don't Understand Inline fan setup
generally the fan or blower goes at the end of the ducting where its exhuasted out, however have also seen fans used to push air through the reflector also and in some cases it may work better that way but your would really need to try your fan in different locations to find out where it works best.
if your not using co2 wich I assume your not with a 400 you would leave one end open and the fan would cool the light and also pull fresh air into the room at the same time assuming you have an intake to pull fresh air from.

HELP:I don't Understand Inline fan setup
i push air thru my reflector. It eliminates and chance of smell leaking between the metal and glass and escaping to the outside.
