ffxi myself.... it ate away at my life >.< NOTHING becomes more important than whatever events going on in your guild or linkshell... you schedule your whole life around the game... then about like a month after you realize now you're purposely changing your sleeping habbits, or stay up over 36 hours, to be there with your linkshell to do some major event... and just hwo bad it's became...

my friend (who has been a friend probably 10 years now) is the one who got me into it... he was worse then me, and he still plays, but now he's kinda slowed down, he got a job atleast.... but he never could understand why i said i didn't wanna came back.... he was really upset :wtf:

that shit is true... and i agree, it's sad... now like all that other shit in the report, i wouldn't listen to what they say... like that whole thing about how it's 'violent'... ??? wtf dude there's a shitload worse out there...

yea WoW is definately not as violent as some games out there, what about gears of war?

but i know what this kid went through, i was a mild case and i still had a life outside it (however cliche that statement may be). that game was really fun at time, but it does eat up a shitload of time, time you wont get back.

sadly before WoW it was star wars galaxies, awesome idea, poor management, but overall it was still pretty sweet. i devoted many nights during the summer staying up all night and sleeping the better part of the day.

i think my longest stretch was like 13 hours once... i felt weird after it, like i knew i was doing something really wrong.

its not so bad tho, people really give it a bad rep but its actually a pretty sweet game if you dont OD on it all the time ya know?

Hey, I played wow all summer, I was on fucking house arrest, what else was I to do. It's a great game, and I know people who are on it all the time, longer than the guy in that video. But none of them are like that fucking weirdo. He's just a loser. They made that video seem like a fucking Truth advertisement. "I'm not totally addicted, I can quit at any time". I'd like to back hand the producer of this.
