When I say ??playing the victim?? im referring to how the right spews rhetoric about how the aclu is anti-american, how where a nation founded on Christianity(which is a lie look at the constitution- no god in there), how political correctness is hurting the country, how the ??average?? Americans way of life is under attack by activist judges, and such.
It seems to me that the leaders of the right use scare tactics to mobilize their base. And fear of change and worst of all fear of the opposition are tools for which they feel no shame of using. The leaders of the right such as ann coulter and sean hannity, as well as like minded politicians, try desparately to paint a picture of how their under attack from atheists, liberals in general, and of course the myth of a left-wing media, while at the same time controlling both houses of congress and the white house as well as the majority of the supreme court. I call that playing the victim, but that??s just my opinion.
