in my opinion 4/20 is kind of stupid

We all get put down by some people somewhere along the line - just because we smoke a plant - and 420 to me, is our day together to stand up and tell everyone to go and fuck right off, and leave us to enjoy ourselves safely.

My favorites are the people that have no religion and do not believe in God and they celebrate chistmas and easter. WTF! I just cant be a sheep to the masses.

It doesn't mean you're a sheep to the masses.
I don't believe in a Christian god, I haven't since I was 9, but I still celebrate Christmas. And this year I celebrated Easter.
Why?
Not because I thought "you know, geez, i want to be like everybody else".
Because it's fun to go all out and celebrate something.
Why shouldn't I?
Like you said, it's just another day, so why can't a pick an occasional day to act like a kid (dying eater eggs for the first time was very enjoyable).
Or enjoy the pretty lights on the tree.
Or get stoned off my ass.


The purpose of any holiday is only to enjoy the day, which is exactly what I do.

i have a feeling this thread will get many angry but hear me out. its just a date on the calendar. i admit when i was somewhat yonger it used to be a big deal but now i dont think much of it. iam a daily smoker and i find lately i smoke no more, no less on 4/20 than any other day. if you want a day to celebrate weed hit up hemp fest which is always a good time. sorry if i offended anyone, but i just wanted to see if theres anyone that agrees.

Thats why you dont over do it. If you dnt over do it the first time then you wouldnt be in this state of mind. This day is supposed to be special, but you've made it like any other day because you've done it so much everyday already.
I think doing it all day and everyday defeats the whole purpose of 420.
For me i've eally cut down on my smoking because its was getting in my way. Im glad i did it because now i can fully appreciate and celebrate 420.

I love getting balloons and making cakes and shit for people's birthdays.
I love shopping for people on xmas and chanukah. (Yeah, I do both. My dad's a christian, my mom's a jew.)
I love hiding easter eggs for the little ones.
I love pinching on st.patricks day (and getting drunk with family/friends).

Why the hell WOULDN'T you want to share your tree, party with friends (some of which you don't party with much), and get completely retarded and SHARE that retardedness with people you love?
I don't know. I'm a daily smoker, I have been for about 4 years, that doesn't mean I don't want to party a little harder then normal with my best of friends. Plus, some people don't smoke that much and do for special occasions; this is one of them. Maybe you've grown out of it, which is a little sad. Why grow out of celerbrating (anything)? That seems like a huge bummer.
