    mudd wouldn't do that...

    however, repeatedly giving your front end abuse could fuck up alignment... which is what i'm willing to bet is the problem... next guess would be the power steering pump.

    Damn,I wish you would have said mudd... i cant think of what could have caused it... no big joults or anything a couple of good mudd holes... but it is REAL hard to turn to the left it takes alot of arm to get a full turn out of it...

    well minus the drifting to the left part, it sounds like a power steering pump... usually when they go out (but not completely) they only work for one way.. that's how my car was... you also end up turning the wheel a bit before it finally kicks in... i.e. the side it works on still kinda jumps around between working and not working...

    well i read a little bit more carefully, and i'm still wondering if it isn't the power steering pump... another symptom is it works better when you're car gets moving...

    but i've never heard of a power steering problem make the car drift...

    its like it pulls hard to the left and right fast kinda like a wobble... after my asshole draws up and move on down the road a little its fine... well until my next left turn. but thanks though.

    i asked lip to come check out your problem... he's a mechanic, on boats, but knows a good bit about cars too.. he might be able to tell you for sure what it is or isn't.

    The pullling to the left , you may have knocked the alignment off. The left side is under caster or the right is over caster. You bent something , upper or lower arms. If a straight axel, it may have bent it.
    Caster= pull to the left or right ( has to be realy out to effect tire wear)
    Camber = uneven wear ( about 20 % tire ware )
    Toe in /out uneven ware ( about 78 % tore ware
    Clean all the under side and wheels and disks and the wheels. Do not use the soap for motors.
    The hard part is to find a GOOD alignment shop. Go to the dealer for the best work, It will cost more in the short term , but alot less in the long term.
    To may halfass shops out there

    I'm assuming that it has power steering - if so i'd check that first. All the connections, pump ect.

    Also Isuzu Troopers have a terrible track record for dodgy electrics.

    BUT - i'm going go for the aliment. You can adjust it yourself, all you need is a laser to aline it with the proper toe in.

    I think that's what your problem is - I supose your just going to have to check it all - but it should be something you could do with a car jack.

    Also check all the tyres - as you go round corners it takes more rubber off on the inside - that's something we have a problem with in England - all our roundabouts mean the inside side of the tyre wears out faster - so we change em over every now and again.
