Why do so many men have this problem??

So I was 9 days late on my period, called the doc she said that my body probably got use to the meds and to double it this month. So I wasnt expecting a period but I had a few tampons stashed away for rainy days. Well all of a sudden I started the worse period I have ever had. The regular tampons were not working I was going through them every 30 mins, and it takes about 30 mins to get to town from my house. So I ask my husband if he would go get me a box of super Playtex tampons (I hate tampax). He had the biggest hissy fit in the world. He basiclly refused to do it for me. There was no way I was going to make it to the store without having a major blowout before I got the tampons. I wanted to be at the house so I could at least monitor the situation in a safe place. I dont understand why it is so hard for alot of guys to go to the damn store and get a box of tampons. What the hell???, my husband was like its embarassing. Why??? What are you worried that ppl are going to think your into some freaky shit and are using tampons for butt plugs or something. What is the deal. Its like toilet paper gotta have it.

In the end he did go and get them but only after my dad came up to visit and he got him to go to the store with him. Then on there way back they got rear ended, he should have left when I asked him too and I wouldnt have had to stuff my panties with paper towels, and he wouldnt have gotten rear ended.

Wow hun, im so sorry your dying like that. I used to get awful periods until I started my birth control (only get it once every 3 months now). Some guys are childish. I've had exes act the same way. Luckily John doesn't care haha. I think thats just as bad as guys who think sex and female body is "icky".

I use to get My wife's OB's all the time, even when we were just dating, Who cares its just a tampon! I had a friend who had a phobia of them, you could chase him around the room with a tampon out of the wrapper but brand new, If you threw a packaged one at him he freaked.. LOL I honestly don't get the big deal, its just a tampon, oh no cotton fibers....scary stuff.
