Warning to those who use CFLS! (may be deadly?)
WorldNetDaily: Consumers in dark over risks of new light bulbs
More in the link.WASHINGTON â?? Brandy Bridges heard the claims of government officials, environmentalists and retailers like Wal-Mart all pushing the idea of replacing incandescent light bulbs with energy-saving and money-saving compact fluorescent lamps.
So, last month, the Prospect, Maine, resident went out and bought two dozen CFLs and began installing them in her home. One broke. A month later, her daughter's bedroom remains sealed off with plastic like the site of a hazardous materials accident, while Bridges works on a way to pay off a $2,000 estimate by a company specializing in environmentally sound cleanups of the mercury inside the bulb.ate Reviewed by ate on . I've busted a few of them in my closet..and once I torqued one too much when screwing it in and the pressure from me grabbing it made it bust. I'm alive? I hope at least, if not, then these muffins taste good as shit for being dead.
what risk does it present? there's nothing wrong with me..

Here's part of the MSDS for Hg vapor, enjoy.
Worst risks of low-level Hg exposure involve potential birth defects including developmental problems.
