suprnova.org was the universal bittorrent source. In other words it listed links to .torrent files. torrent files are files that link to a file or a directory of files on another persons computer. The files that were on other peoples computer could be anything from opensource software, game demos, movies, music (sometimes copyrited material). However surpnova.org and other torrent sites such as torrentbits.org actually never hosted any copyrited material they just provided links to such, and also links to other legal files. Bittorrent is the most efficent way to send out large files over the internet to a large audience because as soon as you start downloading part of the file(s) you also upload it to other users therefore cutting back on bandwidth which means smaller internet bill. The MPAA (motion picture association of america) has decided to try to shut down all these torrent sites along with a number of sites that link to ed2k files so im sure thats why they have decided to go away for now if not forever!

i would suggest trying emule its far better then kazaa in my opionion and i find alot more stuff on emule im not really sure where you dl it but if n e one wants it hit me up on aim Op1a7e

I can't stand Emule... it's so damn slow. I use Kazaa Lite still for some things, but for the most part, I used Bit torrent. If I had to, I'd resort to Soulseek, then DC++.
