Horticulture: Mythbusters (fyi)
For all you growers,
I was watching the discovery channel ealier today and on the show Mythbusters they were trying to see if talking nicely to plants or playing music helped them grow (of course the first thing I thought of was growing pot and the influence it might have on the final product). Apparently, it doesn't matter if you talk nice to them or verbally abuse them, however, plants that were near music grew better than all the others. What suprised me even more, they used heavy metal and classical. Apparently, the batch with the heavy metal grew the best.
I don't know if anyone has tried this, but I'd be interested to see the results with mary j.
I'll have to keep this in mind when/if I ever start growing.Grade A Reviewed by Grade A on . The talking to your plants thing is not a myth... the presence of a person in the grow room increases ambient CO2 pretty significantly... plants dig that shit.
