ez cloner???
:wtf: Can anyone tell me about using an ez cloner? I'm not new to growing but the whole cloning thing is kinda new to me. I have cloned before using rockwoll. But now I have an ez cloner. I was told that this thing was suppost to make cloning easier and faster. only thing is I'm not sure I'm doing it right because I have had my cuttings in it for over two weeks now and only two out of fourteen have rooted. So my bigest questions are:
1- Should I still use rooting hormone(rootone) or just plain water?
2- Do I leave the mister pump on all the time or should i put it on a timer(say 15min/hr)
3- Being that they haave already been soaking for two weeks, is it too late to still dip ends in rootone to try and speed up the rooting process?
4- should I add any nutes to the water?
Any other suggestions on how to use this so called amazing machine would be greatly appreciated...

But you could be having a temperature problem. Do you know what the temps INSIDE the cloner are? I added a very small fish tank heater to mine to get it to work. And yes, I was using clonex and recommend rooting hormones with the thing.
Or you could just sell it to the next sucker and try this:

ez cloner???
Yeah, Well the guy I bought it from and many other growers I know swear by these things. Say they will sprout roots in as little as three days... And I also like the aero concept for sprouting roots since i am going to be keeping my mamas in an aeroponic system anyway.
As far as temp. it is a pretty stable 76-78 deg. f inside the chamber at all times. All the cuttings still look nice and green. And they are not showing any sign of stem rot or mold at all. I just dont understand why they are not throing roots yet except for the fac that I didnt use rootone. I did soak them in Hormex w/B1 for a couple minutes after making my final cut. but didn't use any powder or gel hormone.
So do you think it would help or hurt it more if I were to go ahead and dip the cuttings in rootone now after they have been soaking for so long??? Just curious cause I am ready to make mor cuttings but need these to root and get growing.....
