    What the hell

Whats your opinion of this...I bought a aeroponic cloning machine...have 10 clones in it and its been 16 days with no sign of roots...

The clones are standing straight up, still very green, but zero action down below....I have been using compact flouresent bulb...Dyna Gro nutes and a lil splash of H2O2...the only problem I can see is the temps have been around 50 in that room, but I have a heating mat under the clone machine...

How much longer should I have to wait...I am getting impatiant...

    Is it the temps???

what strain is it? some take a while to root... What's your light schedule? i think you want at least 6 hrs of dark per day. Yeah that room is kinda chilly too, that might be your problem. As long as they still look good, be patient. They can come back yet.

Just watch the water temp. That is most important. 65 to 70 degrees. No nutes for clones but if they still look good that's good. I have kept cuttings in fridge for a month before rooting them . Might be same effect.

too cold in room...need temps in the 80's for propagation.

water temps as stated above 68-70.

Do you know how to take cuttings? If you didn't leave a node, your chances for success diminish.

You never add nutes to cuttings or seedlings. No roots=no uptake, so you are just burning them.

The only 2 things I would ever add to cloning solution (water) is superthrive, or Liquid Karma, or 3-part bloom (for phosphates), but I don't generally. Phosphates help the plant to root.

Latewood... am I correct in prepping my mothers in advance with a bloom fert plus superthrive, fed at least a day before clones are cut, to load up a bit on P and Thiamine?

    What the hell

I feed mine with water for a week before cutting. You want the stems really limber and bendable...low on carbs, lol.

after reading your query again, I believe that you would be fine with that plan. Having the phosphates stored in the mother might promote faster rooting...hmmmm Good Question!

    What the hell

Well anyway I suggested that method to foxy and that's how this go-round of cuttings is getting... um.. cut...
We will see how it all works out. The rapidrooter + bottom heat method is already lightning fast...
