I dont understand how a parent could do that to their child. Be his friends. He sounds like he needs as many positive figures in his life as he can get.

I could tell that the kid was a little off, but thatâ??s not unusual for this area, and even if it was, no big deal. So I get to ask this dude about his life, and heâ??s kind of funny, different and out there, but funny nevertheless. The conversation drags on, and I get back on my board and skate around the same area so I could get some practice in, and still keep the conversation going. About 30 mins into the kids life story, I Rating: 5

yeah, i'd definately suggest maybe later on, telling him all the stories of children who were told they would be nothing, or do nothing, and grow up to be very reputable people... can't think of any off the top of my head, but i've read plenty of these stories.

i think peopel underestimate the mind alot... so what if the kid 'isn't all there or slower then others' .... you can literally do almost anything you put your mind to (i only say almost cuz of course, you can't flap your arms and fly no matter how bad you want) it's not a brain that lets you succeed in life, it's will power... and how you choose to utilize your brainpower.

Haha my parents told me I wouldn't graduate, that I had a learning disability, etc. It's life (shit is always hittin the fan). Pretty fucked up how humans react to each other. With positive influences like yourself, he'll have a fine future. Keep it up bud!

I feel exactly the same as you man. I used to have a friend who had a brain tumour - and because of this he lost all his vision apart from his pripheral vision - and people used to take the piss out of him - but his parents wernt like that. At leasts he's in a better place now.

But that kids parents are horrible people, i cant begin to think what they've made him think of himself. I cant stand people like that.
