Dispensaries

This may belong in the Medical section of the site, but it is meant more as casual discussion and isn't about medical advice, so I'm posting this here.

The other day, I was walking around Venice Beach, California (Southern California, to be specific; it's a big state) trying to find a certain headshop that my friends had told me about, and my friend and I walked into this random hallway that was labeled "Herbalology," and when we went up the stairs, there was a sign that said, "smile, you're being taped," or something to that effect. Confused as to what the hell this place was, we left. When we got back out to street level, we looked at the little sign on the wall and noticed that in the background of the sign, there was a pot leaf. Once we were outside and began to discuss it, we quickly realized that we had just walked into a dispensary, completely by chance (I googled it later to make sure, and sure enough, it was).

What I'm wondering is, has this happened to anyone else? My friend and I thought it was a pretty cool experience and I was wondering whether anyone else that this has happened to thought the same.

I was there last summer... it was like 18 head shops in a mile stretch or something haha...

Yeah, Venice is awesome... It seems like, after a certain point, every single store is either a head shop or has at least a small selection of glassware.

it was the same in the flea markets in mexico, it was hella nice glass too... i got a gold fumed color changing pipe with all these swirls that would go for like 50 here for 25 down there...
