I am currently planning on builting a carbon air scrubber http://boards.cannabis.com/growroom-...on-filter.html sometime in the future. I have read elsewhere in these blogs that in order to generate a negative air pressure inside a box/cabinet, the exhaust hole on your box should be larger than the passive intake. I intend to use salvaged 3" computer fans to push air through the filter. Since the input hole on this filter is 4" diameter, I obviously can't put my fans next to each other in order to make my exhaust hole larger. Can't I just stack one fan on top of the other and expect them to pull air twice as hard? Also, I'm thinking of making the passive intake a mere 2" to make sure the exhaust is twice as large. Thanks to all in advance...
