Here's my question: how can you lower the standard of living for one country to accomodate the corporations with cheaper labor. Lets look at this. In Mexico, the wage is say 5-10 bucks a day. In canada its 60-80 bucks a day. in America, it's 100-150 bucks a day, these are estimates, maybe more, maybe less. The Idea being that you can't lower the American wage to the Canadian level, or especially to the Mexican level without dire consequences. Americans are now living hand to mouth as it is, with 1000.00- 2500.00 a month mortgages. 2 car payments @ 3-6 hundred bucks apiece, Medical, food, utilities, credit card expenses, child rearing and all that entails. How do you propose to make an economy that wont benefit the mexicans and the canadians and fuck the Americans, while giving corporations the largest gift ever? Please explain this to me as I may be too dense to see the benefit to the working American family.
