I don't know if this was covered in this thread as I didn't read it, but what you are referring to is called Hash Oil. And no, when you evaporate the alcohol the THC doesn't go with it. The THC is what gets left behind.

Don't argue why, it's science and that's the way it goes.

I have made oil using 99% Iso Alcohol before. Using a 90% alcohol is no different than using the Iso Alcohol.
