Heres some things that have been going on.....

I bit of a harvest on a plant, Its some good couch lock buzzz...

And then The Smash berrys and papya HAve been moved up into the top of the Cab(three Days ago) With the remaining floweirng plant (Afgan). The

AFgan should be ready ina week or so.

there isn't enough room for em all up top so I have one Smash berry remaining down low.

So far Sex looks like 2 positive females and two unknown.

I've decided to switch my growing into a Coco grow. Im nervous but there are just too many benifiits for me if I grow in Coco. I've tried Coco before and not had the best results. I plan to end that these next couple grows.

I have Botanicare Nutes, Bio-Gensis Synergy and Hightide. I think I should be good as long as I get good grade A Coco coir. I've got GroTek Coco earth preMixed Bag

Because Im hand watering in Coco Do I need to add anything else to my Botanicare Nutes, Bio-Gensis Synergy and Hightide?

Blue Bear mentioned CalMg I was thinking of BIO-GENSIS Mineral Matrix. I think it would provide the same trick. Wouldn't that just cover me for anything that would be missing in the Coco Coir?

Green Air Products - Bio-Genesis - a vegan plant supplement that is omri listed

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    thanks kd....

Mineral Matrix may be hard to find- I had to special order when I used it.
    Fine product, though.
You should be fine w/ just the line-up you're using- if CA def shows, I'd go to the cal-mag. You're not going to need all the other stuff in the mineral matrix- I was only using it due to broad-range metal defs. Overdosage is as deadly as deficiency.

thanks for the reply man, that BIO-GENSIS stuff is the products my local grow shop always pushes on me. I tried the synergy and it is awsome. I went in for superthrive and he sold me on synergy and I never doubt his opinion now.

Im excited to try out coco again. For my balcony garden (veggies) I decided to stick with Promix, Im thinking of mixing composted Sheep manure with it Does anyone think that mixing 50% Promix and 50% Sheep Manure with added perlite would be a good mix for the veggies? Or is that ratio to high?

    thanks for the response guy

Thanks for the replys guys and Gals....

Looks like Ill be grabbing some CalMg next time im at the grow shop. I like to have everything just incase. this is my major hobby now anyways so I don't mind spending the doe...

Whats next for Kds Aprtment is Summer is here soon and KD Is gonna try and grow somthing NON illegal... Crazy eh??? I have my Hanging Tomatoe Baskets... ()Tomatoe plant hangs upside down perfect for my limited spac(FoxFarm Marine Cusine) And I have a bag of ProMix and a Bag of composted Sheep Manure and p[erlite...

Actully Stinky If you could help with my Ratio for The manure mix...

Is 40%ProMix 40% Sheep Manure and 20% Perlite Sound right with 30ml Dolomite lime per Gallon...

Does that soudn like a safe mix?

I will be adding the Marine Cusine (Slow Release Fert) to the top of the soil containers as I need it. Or If I feel the seedling plant is strong enough during transplant time to its perminant position. I may add the marine cusine right into my soil Mix. At 50% recomended dose...

How does that sound? Im looking for kinda easy on my balcony grow.. I like Veggies but I don't have the as much time to put into them as I do the Cannabizzle...

Plus I want my GF to have fun with them as well and be able to water them etc.. Without haveing to worrie about feeding them, mixing nutes and checking PH etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.. Im getting PUMPED>..

I don't know about that mix; I've never used sheep manure, I avoid any peat-containing product on principle (not that promix is bad, I just don't like the way peat holds moisture). Ask rhizome.
Hey... what about reusing your old coco from the canna projects? Flush out... add your manure... ??? Never tried this but hey why not experiment?
And what about hanging strawberries? YUMMMMM you can add them to your sammich

I'm not all that sure about sheep manure myself. My gut is that your mix is gonna be a little hot. How old's the manure? Commercial product or, ah, home-crafted?
Do you know what the diet is?
I'd prob cut that back to maybe 20% manure, less if it's local, even less if it's young ( less than two years).
If you're thinking promix, why not skip the manure entirely? Grab some osmocote, some bone meal, and a little rock phosphate, mix em into yer promix, and away ya go. Or if the osmocote oogs you out, use worm castings

Promix has some lime in it already- lemme look at a bag tomorrow and I can give a better idea. Too lazy to get up.

Remember that adding perlite will increase aeration, which means lowering waterholding capacity. Tomatos outside can move a fair bit of water. Size pots accordingly. Then move up one size.

If ya got old coco kicking around, and it's long grain, you could mix it in instead of some of the perlite, or as an adjunct. If it's used, and been wet/damp for a while, you might want to cut back on the phosphate a bit, and add a little more bone meal. Or you might not.

In terms of dead simple, I've got Big Boys going right now in coco-peat-sphagnum mix, on the BioCanna stuff- feed once a week, water as needed. No pH check, no dicking around. And they love it. ( Like alien tomacco love it).

    Lemme know about the manure.

I was thinking, start with cherry tomatoes, High yield plant. But Stinky nailed it I think. Strawberries,, oh yah.. with some kind of netting to let it vien out, and also allow for lots of new pot to be added, as strawberries love to branch out on the grown and root again.

    Hmm. I have an idea..
