shrooms? didn't work for me :(

Ok. My friend bought 70.00's of shrooms, so she gave me a stem and a half... and her and her friend split the rest. That was about at 4:30 PM. I then smoked a blunt, came home at 5:30... and i got hungry. The shrooms hadn't came on at all... so i called up my neibor and asked him if i could buy 3 grams for 30.00's... he delivered them. I ate them with orange juice. My friend then picked me up for the movies... nothin happaned. All i felt like was very dizzy. Everything felt really strange that night, but no visuals. Music sounded great, but no visuals at all or hallucinations

did i do anything wrong?

It just must've been some shitty shrooms. It also depends on the size of the stem, a stem and a half of chunky thick long ones (with a weight 1.8 dried) can give you visuals.
